“ One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in London. I am surprised by their seafood! Especially for the Crab sashimi! Super fresh and yummy! Highly recommend! Steamed buns are good as well. The soup is inside. When u bite the buns, you need to be careful and then, just enjoy the delicious soup and meat. Defo will visit again! ”
“ Very modern Chinese restaurant. The Dongpo pork is really authentic and tasty, and so is Xiaolongbao and scallops. The lobster mapo tofu is creative but to be honest not the best. We prefer the traditional way of making the mapo tofu. Mango sago does not have too many fruits in. A bit disappointed in that. The food is expensive though. A bit high end. ”
“ Just went to CHELI for the third time, and honestly, it never disappoints. As someone from the north, I finally understand why my Jiangsu-Zhejiang friends are so proud of their food. Every dish here is incredible, but the pork trotter noodles from their lunch set? Absolute perfection—probably the best I’ve had in the UK. The crab rice cakes are a must—soft, chewy, and soaked in sweet, briny crab juices. Loved the 桂花糯米藕—lightly sweet and beautifully fragrant. The 梅干菜五花肉? Melt-in-your-mouth goodness. ”

I used to live in Shanghai and the food here tasted really nostalgic - especially the mixed dried tofu and chrysanthemum appetiser which I’ve never seen at any other Chinese restaurant in London. Everything tasted really clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the Beef with Foie Gras stir fry that multiple staffs recommended! I can’t wait to be back and try other dishes here ”

Salted duck and yanduxian were very authentic! We ordered 6 dishes with free dessert, but only cost us 40 pounds each. This is super valued! We have made another reservation for this weekend.
